How to download your Mercury statement as a PDF
- Click the menu in the top left of your Mercury dashboard and go to Documents & Data.
- Select an account from the dropdown to see all of that account's statements for the year.
- Tick the statements you want — you can select several at once — and click Download.
- For a period that is not a whole month, click "Generate a custom statement" and set the date range instead.
- Drop the PDFs onto StatementSnap and export to Excel, CSV, or QuickBooks. Batch upload takes the whole set together.
What Mercury statements look like
Mercury is the most download-friendly account on this list, which changes what converting is for. Monthly statements are generated between the 1st and the 3rd, you can select several at once rather than clicking through them one at a time, you can generate a custom statement for a narrower range within the current month, you can share statements with someone by email straight from the dashboard, and there is an API that returns statement PDFs programmatically. Each statement carries the account and routing numbers along with the transactions in the range. Converting is still worth it when you need a checked spreadsheet rather than a document — the reconciliation is the part Mercury's own exports do not give you.

Mercury statement questions
- Mercury exports to QuickBooks already. What does converting add?
- A check. Mercury's exports hand you transaction data; converting the statement produces a spreadsheet whose total is verified against the statement's own opening and closing balances. For a business account that someone else will review, being able to say the file reconciles to the cent is worth more than the minute it takes.
- Can I download a whole year of Mercury statements at once?
- Yes — select an account from the dropdown in Documents & Data, tick every statement you want, and click Download. Then upload the set to StatementSnap together with batch upload rather than converting month by month.
- I need a statement for part of a month.
- Use "Generate a custom statement" in Documents & Data and set the range. That produces a statement for a narrower window within the current month, which is the usual need when someone is closing books mid-period or preparing for diligence.
- When do Mercury statements appear?
- Between the 1st and the 3rd of each month for the month just ended. If you are looking for last month's on the 1st and it is not there, give it a day or two.
