StatementSnap

Any bank statement → clean Excel, CSV, or QuickBooks file. Balances verified.

StatementSnap converts any bank statement to Excel, CSV, or QuickBooks

StatementSnap is a web app that converts a PDF bank statement or credit card statement into an editable transaction table, then exports it as an Excel file, a CSV, or a QuickBooks file. Drop a statement below — seconds later you get the table, with a badge confirming the balances add up.

You can convert a statement without an account. Signing in with Google is optional: it creates your StatementSnap account and gives us your name, email address, and profile picture — nothing more, and never access to anything else in your Google account. What we do with it is in our privacy policy.

The badge is the whole point

Any bank statement converter can guess at a table. This one checks its own work, in code rather than in a language model — so the badge is arithmetic we performed, not something a model asserted.

A ledger footing: the opening balance plus every signed transaction is summed and lands exactly on the closing balance printed on the statement, with a difference of zero. A smaller panel shows the failure state, off by 42 dollars and 18 cents.Opening balance1,000.00TRANSACTIONS03 Apr15 Apr22 AprCard purchase — hardware storeDirect deposit — employer payrollMonthly service fee−120.45+2,500.00−35.55Computed closing balance3,344.00Closing balance printed on the statement3,344.00Difference0.00Balances reconcile — to the centOpening balance + every transaction = closing balance.Computed in our own code, not asserted by a model.WHEN IT DOESN'TComputed closing3,301.82Statement closing3,344.00Difference−42.18Doesn't reconcile —off by $42.18You are told the statement isshort, and by how much. You are not handed a confidentwrong answer.
